All About Pocket Knives

Hi... I would greatly appreciate further information on this knife. Please see the link below. It seems odd to have two nail nicks on the master blade . Is this legit? Thanks in advance s-k

It seems odd to some people when seeing an old knife with two nail nicks. It seems strange to others to see an old knife with a high polish on one side of the master blade, and not on the other. And on and on. That's because many of us judge old knives using moden standards of construction. I'd guess that the knife is entirely legit. I'd also defer to someone like LT's opinion.
