Another beauty of a S&A Congress Dimitri ... sweet bone and I really like the sheep foot blade!!!

Sperry & Alexander had some nice knives - but if I understand they were a wholesaler in NY and not a Mfg.. Given that I wonder who made their knives?? They seem to be well made and somewhat rare but S&A only was around from early 1890s until the 1920s...

I don’t have one but here’s a catalog cut of a nice S&A easy opener jack ....

I don't know if any S&A were made in USA but certainly in Germany.

Allow me to add one to the thread; this one may not be as early as your two examples, and I think it is a Schrade Cut Co contract knife. 3 1/2" long both blades are marked S.&A.CO. (over) NEW YORK.
