I looked through all my references, and this is the story the knife tells me:
Recessed pin caught my eye, number of reasons it could be like that, pryed something open or apart like a crowbar, over-buffing, or a possible blade change.
The wear on the middle of the line on the tail of the C righ in the center, why is it rubbing or how did it get rubbed away like that?
Comparing to other Case Tested era stamps, to me the "A" does not look like where it is supposed to be, too far to the right in my opinion, but I am no Case stamping expert.
Of the Case Equal End Pen knives I did find in my references, I did not see any that had the long bolsters, nor did any of them have the type of master blade shown.
The pen blade has some wear in the middle, is it rubbing against the master blade?
Those are some red flags I can see from pictures, to answer some of them, I would have to have the knife in hand. Me personally, I would not be bidding on the knife.

My wife walked in when I was looking at the pics of the knife, and even she said, that doesnt look right, so either she has been messing with my knives while I have been at work, or the knife reads just that way!
