a surprise

got this one with a bunch of others. one of my favorite patterns. cleaned some active rust off and mineral oiled the handles and surprise, a nice, well built bone two blade congress. nickle liners, bolsters and shield. carbon blades, sharp enough to shave and almost black. the well jigged bone handles include a pinned shield. the shield has the pins on the ends and they are folded over to penetrate to handle and are peened on the inner liner.
made by gesco in japan. the shield says gescut.
i found a gesco cuttlery display box on the bay but have'nt found any more about the company. anyone know about gesco?
3 1/4" closed, 3/8" wide. blades are crinked perfectly to fit without rubbing in the single spring frame.
