All About Pocket Knives

i dont know where to go or where to ask. i have several knife i want to sell and hoping to keep doing that but i have problem. i cannot tell the vaule of knives or how to set price for it. can anybody tell me how or at least tell me where to find reliable information. ::shrug::
some of it have no brand name on it, which also make it difficult to put vaule on it without knowing where it made or from.

pictures, condition, brands, etc. look on ebay to see if any knives like yours are for sale.

If you post photos many unmarked knives can be identified by knife collectors.
Adding descriptions, such as length can help.

yes yes, i have photo and description. those were no problem, but the problem is figuring out the PRICE for it or its value. on ebay, there is thousands knives and range from 99 cents to hundreds dollars.

those knives are average 4.5 to 5 inches (closed). there are several more are similar to those.

thanks for helps, but in future if i got more knives to sell. how do you suggest i determine prices myself without asking for help too many times.

are those made by frost. if not, who is the maker?

One looks like Pakistan and one looks like Maxxam. Not anongst your finest nor desireable knives.

Most collectible knives have their name stamped in the blades.

It mite be best to show them to us.

How do you plan on selling these?

So far I would let them go for $5.00 each if you find a buyer.

That's just my opinion.

Looking at these knives you seek a value on, just looking at what they are, and the quality of workmanship, I would guess $1-$8 range. No significant collectabilityin the collectors market, yet to the individual who owns them, they could be priceless. (All in the eyes of the beholder)
If your interested in knife collecting as an ivestment/hobby I would recommend, going to some knife shows or or gun shows, and view and handle alot of knives, get a feel and look as to what a good quality made knife is, and your adventures inknife collecting can be very rewarding. It will also depend on what your tastes are, and what you are looking for in a knife. Good luck!

my wife got those knives for me year ago because i want to start my own hobby but i never get around to it. she got it from ebay as lot, really cheap. only one knife have mark on tang which is "tater hill" and rest of them came in box marked "super knife". i am not sure if it is origanl box or seller just pack them whatever they can get.

i plan on sell it on ebay, they are not really collectable. they are just something high school kids or early 20s kids would get.

KOOL Try to sell them in a YARD sale first. That way you will not have any cost.

But Please keep the wife. It took me 2 years to get my wifey to give me a knife.

If I was in your shoes I would keep one. Just to show others that she started you collecting... It may be priceless in time to you...
