Why Do I Have This Knife ?

Sure has been quiet around here. I can't be the only one who has mis-fits in my collection.
It was a ' throw-in'; someone was cleaning out drawers and gave it to you; it was cheap, you hadn't had a fix for two days so you bought it.
Come on, let's see 'em, I wasn't the only fondler !

I have quite a few mini Hammer Brand knives. There certainly isn't anything special about them but I still like them.

Inox Solingen Germany
Ken, What are you trying to say ?
Should I get different glasses ?
Glad to see you stand and confess, Ken. Maybe we can start a 12 step program for this aberrant collecting behavior.

Don't know if it's vintage or not, tang stamped simply U.S.A., but the glassene envelope is definitely old. If I knew the value, I might go back to that antique shop and buy the other 2 or 3 that were still there last week.

This has to be the most useless knife I have seen yet, but she is YELLOW...

The only good thing is when you set her down she does
NOT roll away...
I will give my self ...!!!...

Been meaning to clean out the junk drawer, and add to this thread...but, hey - I'm old.
Neway, I don't buy knives off Ebay, but on a slow night, I will cruise around, just looking. Got there just in time to see this old knife close at almost $60. ! . ! Here's my version - same "vintage" condition, without the bail, that the other one had.
I guess it's time to "reclassify" my junk drawer ?
