Fake Marbles safety folder

It's hard to understand how this kind of money can be spent on such a terrible fake knife. $811 plus shipping at time of post. Seller will sell the good, the bad and the ugly all the same. Cobbled parts knife at best.

Blade looks to have come from a fixed blade knife of some type.

Note how the back square of the blade sits above the back spring with the blade open.

You won't find a fullered blade like this in a genuine small frame stag handle Marbles safety folder.

The pivot pin is not original to the frame, is off color and way too large.

Given there is no photo with the blade closed, I wonder how it fits the folding guard.

Why would Bruce Voyles sell such a knife?

It fits the guard take a look at the e-bay link. The blade looks to be from a fixed blade, due to the stamp looking so high on the tang.

Not sure what the final price was on this, but when I saw it w/ 2 minutes to go it was at 810. That’s a heck of lot to pay for a Frankenstein.

I've had issues with Voyles' knives, especially his grading system. How can a pin crack be graded near mint, after it has been severly buffed? ::shrug::

The sale must have gone south because it is relisted. Maybe the buyer tuned into AAPK and reneged on the buy. eBay can be a crazy place so no telling where the money will end up this time around. The seller says
The 4.25" blade is about as nice as I have seen on one of these knives

It's the only one I've ever seen and it's still an ugly frankenknife.

Here is the new listing.
