All About Pocket Knives

Howdy, I picked up A Knights Templar sword other day. Does Anyone have an idea what it's worth since we know who it belong to and where it came from? It has the owners name on it. F P Murray. He owned it in 1914. It came with all the documentation On him. We were able to locate this name in the Proceedings... first annual conclave, Freemasons, Georgia, Knights Templar, Grand Commandery 1914. He was listed as a member of the Rome Commandery, No 8, Rome Ga.
Overall length is 41 inches Blade is 32 inches Handlers 7 a half inches Scabbard is 33 inches blade next to handle is one inch

That is cool. It has to be displayed.

That’s a good looking old sword. Can’t help with the value but I had two Masonic swords back in 1980, gave both to a Marine Corps buddy who was a Mason.

Those are usually pretty nice swords, and very attractive, but I don't think they have a real high value, unless you had one that belonged to a famous person. Check "gunbroker.com" or ebay and see if you can find any that sold.

I have several ceremonial swords and daggers from various organizations and while they seem to be well constructed and quite old for some reason don't seem to be worth a lot of money. I paid $40 for one of them and the other was given to me. A friend of mine has one at the local flea market he is asking $75 for and has had no takers for several months now. I would display it if it were mine.
