All About Pocket Knives

Haven't been by much lately. It's deer season so my thoughts have moved from gettin knives to usin em.

This is a sweet little 94OT i picked up in a trade a month or so ago. I LOVE it. Boy howdy, if this thing could talk! So i cleaned it up a bit, put a new edge on it and stuck it in my pocket.

Whataya think?

That Schrade looks like it would feel right at home in the pocket. You gotta love the Old Timers and the I especially like the linerlock feature on this one.

Nice Railsplitter Moose. I've had my eye on that one for awhile. How do you like it as an EDC. Looks like a quality knife.

Hey Sketch, It a good one alright. I need to put a new edge on it though.
Been opening cardboard boxes for the last month a little dull at the moment. I was'nt sure about using it but feels so good in the pocket and in the hand that I gave in.

singin, that is a purty knife!

It's a good thing the knife has the liner lock. It has zero snap.

That is a great pattern, and they clean-up so nicely. A little work & a bit of stag and they are beautiful. You can probably put a bit of snap back in the blade if you are careful.

that is beaufitul Orvet.

the only way i could get the snap back is take the blade out and add steel to the heel of the tang. It is wore down so much that the backspring sits way down in the frame. i thought about making a new blade, but why, just use it as is. when the blade is wore to a nub and my great grand son has it, he can put a new blade in it.

that's one thing i love about guns and knives. if cared for, they will still be in use in 200 years. Provided the govt doesn't confiscate them, melt them down and turn them into some sissy artwork inside a fountain in downtown Houston.

I think I may have a blade that will fit that knife if you want it. It has a 3-7/8" frame & a clip blade from a 94OT should fit it with no adjustment.

Artwork? Unfortunately, they become Manhole covers in Connecticut.
