CAN ANYONE GIVE MORE INFORMATION ON A CASE KODIAK. WHEN MADE? IT HAS THE STARS ON THE GUARDS. IT SAYS CASE XX. IT HAS ONE DOT BEFORE THE KODIAK. DOES THIS MAKE IT MADE IN 1960 TO 1965? STAG HANDLE, WITH ORIGINAL BOX. WORTH, 150.00? DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG THESE WERE MADE? ARE THERE ONES WITH CASE XX USA AND CASE XX ALSO WITH DOTS AND LIGHTENING BOLTS? THANKS FOR THE HELP.

How about some photos, front and back?
It is definitely worth $150.00 with the box and sheath and depending on year maybe a couple hundred more.
I don't know what years they were made but [various models] were made 70's.
Good close up Photos would help date it.
Off hand sounds like a 79 but don't quote me on that.
Anything on back of blade?
IF it is stamped on front of blade USA, is it small or large?

THANKS SAVAGE 1, SORRY NO PHOTO'S BECAUSE I HAVEN'T BOUGHT IT YET. I CAN TELL YOU THOUGH IT DOES NOT HAVE USA ON IT. JUST CASE XX. WITH THE STARS ON THE GUARDS. THAT MUST DATE IT EARLIER. LARGE CASE OR SMALL I DON'T KNOW. NOTHING ON THE BACK OF THE BLADE. I GUESS IM TRYING TO DO THE HOMEWORK BEFORE I BUY IT SO I DON'T GET THAT BUYERS REMORSE THING

The lack of 'USA' has me wondering and stumped and I don't know enough about Kodiaks to help further on this one.
It's believed the Kodiak production was began in 1963 and ran until 2000, even though other Stag knives had stopped at times because of stag embargoes.
