All About Pocket Knives

Just me, or has this Kabar Trapper been heavily cleaned? To the point of wearing the tang stamp off. The sharpening and use wear of the knife doesn't match up with the shiny on the blades, and pitting is usually a side effect of heavy rust. A friend of mine's Trapper in similar condition, and it sure as heck isn't nearly as shiny (and not to mention, spent several years in a relative's basement before he found it).

Yup, heavily rusted and then cleaned, looks like a junker. Seller has crazy price, I wouldn't even pay that for a near mint one from that era, common model, delrin scales.
