All About Pocket Knives

OK here is another knife by Brett. Ebay # 320166396568. Please look it over and tell me what you think. I beleive he bought this on and afew others from a guy in England awhile ago. I was looking at it also but was outbid. We keep talking about the knives that he sells that are parts etc but what about this one?

Also he has another made by Ulster that I would like your thoughts on.

can't really shed any light on the sheffield knife but the obvious of the ulster is the buffed blades

I agree with the buffed blades on the Ulster. I know they made knives for the company which is marked on the other blade because I had an old Ulster box that had the other name on it.

I am just trying to say that he does not always sell knives that have not been worked on. We as a forum should be fair to both sides with the sellers on ebay. I think there sometimes is a lot of negative comments made about a persons character when we are looking at the knives they sell. I like the fact that we all help eachother to buy knives that are honest but we should stick to the knives and not a persons motives. PA KNIVES knows me and I think he would understand what I am saying. I sometimes feel uncomfortable reading about certain ebay sellers because of the things that are said about them. Lets keep the comments to there knives please.

This English knife is on the money that he is selling. I bought from the same batch and they were from a salesman that sold different brands in the UK.

hey mike, this seller regularly rips people off. sure all his knives are not bogus but to buy from him only perpetuates his dishonesty. there are plenty of reputable sellers out there who don't take advantage of others. my opinion.
i do agree that only a knife in question should be the focus in this forum but if a seller is regularly involved in deceit, the more people that know of him can at least br forewarned.

Never heard of J.W. Waterhouse. I searched various books and directories with no match. IMO I have doubts about the finish on the blade, the lack of kick, and the overall appropriateness of the blade for a knife of that style and age. Just my 2p. s-k

His knives show up a lot on the other forum also and one of the regular comments is about welded blades.I'm no expert by any means but that Ulster looks like the tang and blade don't match very well.If this guy can weld as good as they claim,and there are people who have been threatened with lawsuits over it,I don't think I would ever deal with him.
