I have look at the knife and can't not find pins through bolster.
It looks to me that it has been apart.If you go off the story it is rare and in good condition

Schrade-Walden did not make a 5 blade 8OT. A skilled knife mechanic added an extra spring and 2 blades. Could even have been done by a Schrade cutler just for fun or any one of hundreds of good knife 'mechanix' in their home workshops.
