I can't believe the crap this store sells as custom. How about a Rough Rider for $34.95 with low quality milk white pearl handles. Here's the Rough Rider.

Here is the store:

Here is a Pakistani "BULLDOG BRAND 1970 antique (Bulldog's first knife was in 1978) OOPS, MY mistake its a Bull Dog Sow Belly Folding Hunting Knife, new old stock

Actually here is a portion of the written description from Little Mesters Knife and Tool Shop we have this description and this is a direct quote.

According to Little Mesters Knife and Tool Shop this is the knife for sale,
"We are thinning our stock of knives we sold in the early 60's thru the 90's that are no longer available today. Each knife is mint and new, and may need some buffing as the patina has naturally aged. This Bull Dog Brand Folding Hunting Knife is a higher end with brass liners, Cast Stainless Steel Blade, smoked natural bone scales, and nickel silver bolsters. This knife has the rare sow belly blade and looks as nice closed as when it is opened. It measures 5.75" closed and a wopping 10" when opened. We always thought this knife deserved a sheath, but it comes with none. Produced in 1970, shop retail was $34.50, so the asking price is fair."

or a fake Laguiole

Mind you these are my opinions and they have 119 negatives and 15 were withdrawn and they have a 98.8% rating. They usually call the folks that leave negatives "uneducated buyer".
They are also eBay Trading asistants. Beware of sellers like these, the Bulldog from Pakistan which I've seen many can have the tang marking easily removed. I see a few where you can buy 5 knives that look like Frost, with a Frost like price, but company names are never given and I recognize quite a few. What to buy a $8.95 Rough Rider for $30.00. They seem to prey on the unknowing, but all this is just my OPINION.

Although, I don't believe any of you guys shop here, but take a browse, some of this is so outrageous, it's funny IMO.

Hukk; an interesting point you make about tang marking removal-many knives come into the country with no stamps, only etching, which is easily removed.
And then if someone wanted to bother, a whole 'nother stamp or etch could be put on.
I've seen a few 'NEW' knives recently with no marks.
Be careful guys.

This seller is an odd duck to say the least...he was the one that was saying in his auctions that Case was having knives made in China.

Yeah, I saw a lot of odd statements, many not quite true. Maybe the Case knives the seller was confused with were SFO's by Frost Cutlery. ::shrug:: But what can one expect from a store with $5.00 junk selling for the $30.00 range.
