Here's a couple of GEC Stag knives I just got from Derrick Bohn at Knives Ship Free. The more I see these knives the more I like them. Just well made knives.

Those are the two companies with the best stag--hands down. Between the two ... I choose Northwoods.

Interesting Derrick!
I tell you what...and don't tell anybody....I never was really a fan of stag.
Until I saw Northwoods Stag. It just flipped some switch in my brain.
Love the Northwoods Stag.

I have to agree...

As nice as the GEC stag is on these knives, and its nice. The stag that Northwoods is using is almost magical in its appeal and vintage characteristics...
Thanks for sharing,

I love my GEC stags. The Northwoods I have seen on the forum are beautiful, but I have never seen one in person. Here is a couple pics of 3 2006 GEC's I have. I've noticed they were more generous with the stag on '06 models.

Here's my favorite of 2 '06 Pioneers. I started a little late to get a good price on a #73.

The better half is gonna be mad at you fellas for talking me into it!

Whoa ! Bryan,
I'd buy more GEC's if they looked like those two.
You must know a dealer who lets you choose.

I think GEC only offered each dealer 1 set of these. The big time dealers might have been offered more

I just received my GEC Stag handled knife from Derrick Bohn at Knives Ship Free. I own most of the recent Northwoods Stag handles that I bought from Forensic Jim. I like the Northwoods a lot but the stag on this GEC is every bit as good looking. Both of these brands are wonderfully made, attractive and addictive knives.
