2017 AAPK Churchill Club Knife. Made by Great Eastern Cutlery (GEC). I bought two of these at release time. One is in my pocket and I decided that I don't really need this other one.
Blades and backspring have a coat of Renaissance Wax on them but otherwise in Like New condition. Never used, carried, or sharpened. Comes with its original tube.
Photos taken today.

Not interested in any trades at this time.
Thanks for looking.

It's no secret that these knives were notorious for having weak snap. Especially on the Clip blade.
Allow me to elaborate just in case anybody was wondering. Opening snap is very good on both blades. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 meaning you have to push the blade closed, here's how I would rate the closing snap on each blade of this particular knife:
Clip Blade = 4
Sheepsfoot Blade = 6

You're to be commended for providing that clarity and honesty. Thanks for doing it.
It's a beautiful knife, and I would be tempted to buy it if I had the discretionary funds to do so, but alas. Of course, I'd use it. No safe queens here.

One thing about Rick is he's an honest man. I know this to be true.

I think the 35 churchill got a bit of an unwarranted bad rap for that longer than normal dead area between the closing and opening snap. I bought three of them and after repeated cleanings to remove the gritty feeling in the action one of those 35's has become one of my favorite EDC's. That long dead area has nothing to do with the cutting capabilities of the knife and actually makes it easier to open and close. The slim single spring also makes for a very comfortable carry.

Thanks for your comments, Greg. I'm inclined to agree and not just because I'm trying to sell a knife.
The one in my avatar has been my most carried knife since I received it in late October. In fact, there might be an accumulated total of only 15 or 20 days since then when I didn't carry it.
My personal opinion is that the blade action is sublime and that goes for all five of the Churchills that I own or have owned. It's a nice combination of ease of opening while still retaining reasonably good snap. I'm usually a real stickler for hard snap but I wouldn't have carried my Churchill for that long if it didn't earn its place in my pocket.

I agree on both counts. I have carried my AAPK knife many days and another 35 (blade forums with a needle tip punch) many times.
Rick, if I didn't already have (more than

) enough Churchills I would be interested. In addition to the previously stated commendations for your honesty and clarity, I applaud you for offering the knife at a fair collector price point. I have seen a few of these listed on eBay at almost a 100% mark up. This is a great knife at a very fair price - in my opinion.
