Does anyone have a knife with moose antler handle or scales?
How well does it hold up? Or does it?

Yes, these knives are some earlier work of mine.
Are you looking at a specific knife with moose antler on it?
I was thinking someday having a folder customized with moose. It's such a huge animal and popular in my home state of Maine.Tony_Wood wrote:You are welcome Steve. I am surprised that no more have been posted here.Steve Warden wrote:Thanks Tony.

Eric, that is fantastic! Great looking knife.ea42 wrote:Steve, we did a few with moose antler, it's thin and does require some flattening, but it's definitely tough stuff:

Great looking knives Tony!

Steve, you could have someone scale a folder as Eric’s fixed blade is scaled. That is a possibility, and would pay homage to your region.Steve Warden wrote:I was thinking someday having a folder customized with moose. The fixed blades are certainly beautiful, but not practical for me to carry in my neck of the woods
I like it!doglegg wrote:DSCN2018.JPG
That one was in Wyoming. I too love that kind of county. Not a total cold weather guy but I can tolerate it. Never been to Maine but would love to go. Our Lord's plans are best.Steve Warden wrote:I like it!doglegg wrote:DSCN2018.JPG
Guess I have a heart for the country they inhabit, also. I love the colder weather!
Always thought I would retire in Maine. God had other plans. Works for me!!
