All About Pocket Knives

Vermont Cutlery Co. --- 1898.

A stamp I've never seen representing Vermont Cutlery Co. in this diminutive tuxedo folder.
A well made knife with half stops on both blades and strong springs. A little dandy at 2 5/8" closed.
Both tangs are stamped.

Wow - that is cool Joe ... VT Cutlery Co was possibly a hardware retailer (in Burlington?)and supposedly may have been German made knives by Wester & Butz according to Levine (ca 1871-19??).. First VT made knife I have ever seen

I said this before Joe, you have a real knack for finding those obscure brands of knives. Most of the ones you post here I've never heard of. I don't know how you do it but you're very good. Ya, you like those l-o-n-g thin knives alright. Very nice. Good find.

My information says that S&W contracted with a Vermont Cutley in the early 80's to make the American Series Knives.
