All About Pocket Knives

This probably has been the worst time of my 75 years, my wife passed away last Monday. It was a total surprise, she was short of breath and dizzy on Sunday but we didn't do anything till Monday 6am, I took her to the ER about 20 miles away, they did a bunch of tests and put in an IV and came up with a possible blood clot. It was a blood clot on her lungs and it moved up to her heart and that was it. They tried really hard with CPR and could get it going for a short time but then always quit. By 11 am it was all over with, I felt like someone had kicked me the gut and still feel that way. Always second guessing what could have been done, but the DR. said there was nothing I could have done different. We were companions for almost 40 years and now I have a heck of a hole in my life. Prayers are needed. thanks, Terry

So sorry, I have no idea what you’re going through. All we can do is pray that God will lift you up and strengthen you in this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry to read of your wife's passing. As Larry posted, I too have no idea what you are experiencing but I remember my mother's words when my dad died, she said, "It's like half of me has died." She survived, relied on the Lord for strength and comfort along with her family. Terry, we will be praying you will find peace and comfort during this time.

Oh Terry I am so sorry for what you are going through. My wife and I have been together for 39 years now and I can ony imagine the heartache you're dealing with my friend. Please know that you are in my prayers and know that you've got a lot of us here on AAPK supporting you in this difficult time. God promises us He won't put more on us than we can bear with His help so don't hesitate to lean on Him. He will see you through this.

I don't really have the words, Terry. I am so sorry for your loss. We lost my dad last year, my mom and he were married for 56 years. I don't know what you're going through, but I can see how it has affected my mother.

Our prayers are with you through this difficult time. Remember, we are here for you if you need us.

My deepest condolences Terry. I wish we had a way to somehow reduce your pain and sadness. But we can only pray and trust that the Creator of us all will strengthen our faith so that we may rely upon Him to bring us all into His Kingdom as he has your dear wife.

I lost my wife just 114 days ago, 15 weeks, 47 yrs married, 50 yrs 1 month together, stuck like glue together, and my grief has Not Lessoned at all,
worst in some situations, a bit softer in others...I know "we both" spoke of getting together in the past when I come thru the Platt river country 2 times a year, , I reckon we will have to do that later this summer and set down and talk about our the wives and have a damm good cry together.........You will be on my mind Daily Ol hoss, and I wish the best for you during this time
