All About Pocket Knives

Anyone know who manufactured this unmarked knife?

Gungadd welcome to AAPK. Don't take it that lack of response means no one cares. More probably no one knows who made it. There are a LOT of Chinese companies making knives, and many of them look like yours, or similar. You can be assured of one thing though. Regardless what name, or no name, they put on it, in the end the maker is the communist Chinese government.

Maybe someone can put a name to it and will be along later.

Looks like a We made in China but they have a tang stamp. Nice knife though.

Thanks. I looked at a ton of We design knives nothing cam up looking like this knife.

I believe it may be a Stedemin. Very similar clip and frame lock system

China has a huge and growing middle class as well as many wealthy entrepreneurs who own factories and internet companies etc. China has allowed private enterprise for about 20 (?) years. More Rolls Royce & Lamborghini cars are sold in China than in any other country because so many Chinese people have made a lot of $$ in business ventures.
The HanWei knife company in Dalian, China, was started and is still owned by a Chinese guy named David XXX (i forget his surname). They make some of the best knives and swords worldwide and have developed their own proprietary steels "HWS-1" & "HWS-2", all accomplished by private enterprise.
From what i have read, free enterprise in China is encouraged by the Chinese government as long as those involved are not also lobbying for a change of government.

It's a tad unusual for it to have no markings whatsoever. Usually it will have something stamped on it - and, of course, if it is a copy or clone of a name-brand knife, then it would have the same markings as the original. I would probably look around on dhgate.com, gearbest.com, fasttech.com & aliexpress.com and see if you can find it.
