Fight'n Rooster does not have a "Tang Stamp Chart"
Actually the Fight'n Rooster Knives only have three (3) different blade tank stamps throughout its entire production run.
One cannot know what actual year his/her knife was made, only a grouping of year runs, with the exception of course of some master blades having a production date, and many having this date often with how many were produced.

The first stamp used on Fight'n Rooster knives (rear tang) was Frank Buster Cutlery Company Germany. The front of the blade was stamped with the two Rooster Trademark and the word Solingen underneath the roosters. There was no wording above the Roosters.
Used from 1977 - 1982. In 1982 the rear tang stamp was changed to Frank Buster Celebrated Cutlery Germany. The front stamp had the words Fight'n Rooster added above the two roosters.
The vast majority of Fight-n Rooster knives have this stamping, and are known as (Celebrated)
Used from 1982 - 1994 The rear stamp was changed in late 1994 to Frank Buster & Son Celebrated Cutlery Germany. The front rooster stamp did not change.
Used from late 1994 - Through last production. You may occasionally find a Fight'n Rooster knife with a different tang stamp, but it is not common, and it would not necessarily increase the collector value.

I have no information on Fight'n Roosters logo origination. Nothing in my books or material, I will keep looking.
Until than perhaps another aapk member will have something?

Here are 2 knives with what i believe are the earliest F'nR markings, both likely from 1978. The front tang is marked: "Solingen/Germany" and the back tang with "Frank Buster(arched)/Cutlery/Co". On the blade flat is "Fight'n (logo) Rooster", the logo being the 2 fighting roosters. The "Solingen" has a fancy tail on the "g", the same as knives coming from the Olbertz factory which is where these were made.
On page 155 of Parker's F'nR book, knife "K" it shows this 1978 Muskrat, Bonestag, as "very rare" and you can see these markings in the picture.
The other knife i think is early is a 3 1/2" pen knife, horn handles, with front tang marked "Solingen (all block letters)/Rostfrei" and blade flat with "Fight'n (logo) Rooster/Stainless Germany". Back tang is blank as is secondary blade. I think this is very early before the stamping die was acquired.

I had a Fight'n Rooster collection but sold it a couple of years ago. Some months afterwards i found a few more F'nR knives that had become separated from the official F'nR knife rolls.
These are 2 of the ones i 'found'.
