Hello All ,
I would like some advice . I plan to re handle my Buck 112 and 113 Skinner . At first as I have some nice woods and some buffalo horn , I was going to use these , then after my dog has ended up chewing a couple of bones , he has left me with two very nice pieces of what look like the animals shin bone ( probably from a cow ) . They are the right thickness to replace scales on both knives once Ive sawn the into pieces . Only thing is I do not know how they would look once polished up ( anyone any pictures ?)
What do you think ?
Thanks

I don't have a bone 110 or 112, but I do have a bone 102. It's to the left of the LL Bean stacked leather in the photo. Buck did make a polished cow bone 110, along with several other models, as specials for BassPro. If you do a search for "Buck 110 knife with bone handle" you will find quite a few photos.
