This guy is no stranger to knives. Notice how he stays right on the edge with his description; he tries to come across as a novice!

"HANDLES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE BUT HAS ONE HAIRLINE CRACK”
is that good shape?

"ALL THREE BLADES ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE KNIFE HAS NO WEAR TO IT, NO PITTING"
yea, no wear other than the grind job, that’s why there is no pitting!

The greenbone stag is interesting...............maybe he is a novice!

One of the things I really like about this site is the information you can learn. The obverse side of the tang stamp appears to have had pitting that was buffed. It sure isn't bone with the 5375 pattern number and with all the Case knives he sells he knows better than that. I've been burned a number of times early on and by a knife dealer who professed to be a Christian. You learn the hard way that people will say anything to make a buck.
