Beer 29

Last year was a slow year for me as far as turning out modifications and repairs goes. Too much going on, surgeries, etc. so now I'm scrambling to catch up. Dave sent me three knives last year a TL-29 handles with giraffe bone and add a cap lifter/screwdriver blade, kind of beer TL-29 or beer 29 (as opposed to beer:30).
Sorry for the indoor pictures but it's still raining here.

The electrician's knife is such a great canvas for the imagination when it comes to modifications. Inexpensive and plentiful, it's a great palette for the cutler's imagination. Another job well done Dale.

I don't recall you ever sending me any giraffe bone Jerry, maybe one or both of us are getting forgetful.
I actually bought several pieces of giraffe bone a few years ago and have been using it for different projects from time to time.

I have to find the right thing to put it on, it hasn't told me yet where it wants to be.

I feel that way about certain types of material. I'll get it, then set it aside. You're right, eventually I'll think about it for a project, or it will "talk" to me when I'm rooting through my stock.

Received this knife today. It's beautiful.
Unfortunately I can't try out the cap lifter until tomorrow.
I don't get off work until 7AM.
