All About Pocket Knives

Here are a couple of knives that seemed to have taken me almost forever to get done! But, I sold our home, found and bought another and then moved while in the midst of getting these two done!

The one has Stag Antler scales, and the anomaly with the wavy line is natural and I got it to fit the show side of the knife, the other is some nice prime Paua.

Both knives have full file jobs that wonder down onto the blades.....

And last, but hardly least are the blades themselves.
When I got these knives the blades where done in a wire finish. I was surprised at how 'hard' the steel in the blades is and believe me, it was no small chore to rub them out!

This was my first time redoing a knife and I learned a lot from you.

I to have noted that Schrade used strong materials.

The brass and steel that Schrade used seem to me to be the best for the money.

I am looking forward to seeing your NEW shop.

It is nice to BE BACK to! It has been the endless summer from hell with all that was going on! I wish my shop where done for sure. I would spend 20 hours a day out there!
