All About Pocket Knives

Here's a jack I just received. It's 3 1/2" and has early Winterbottom bone handles. Looks like all steel construction and has the non script tang stamp.
The bone would be real nice if it weren't for a center pin crack on the mark side.

What's interesting is the secondary blade has a half stop and the main clip does not. Looks like the knife is factory original so I don't believe it was a repair job. Have to check into this and look at my other jacks.

I'm not usually into Winterbottom bone, but that one looks nice. Good score

After giving this one a good look over, I realized that this pattern evolved into their Barlow line of knives. It is the same pattern as the #22, #23 and #60 that used the aluminum frame. Also the same as the Drake Well from 1972.
The bolster has a bit of a "hump" where it meets the tang in order to eliminate the sharp tang edge.
