All About Pocket Knives

I have had the below pictured Marbles fixed blade for quite some time. Unfortunately no sheath.
Around 2000, 2001 while on the road at work, as I was walking through a shipping receiving area of one of our customers, I noticed a young employee there opening a box with the below knife, my initial thought was "KaBar" I started a conversation with him pertaining to his knife. After taking a closer look, I noticed the obvious, "Marbles" I asked the young man if he wanted to sell it. He looked at me surprisingly, I could not distinguish if his look was a look of "No Way," Leave me alone," or "Make me an offer," I did not want to insult him (Especially with a knife in his hand) I made him an offer of $20.00. He looked at his knife for a few moments, he than smiled and handed it over to me. We were both happy.

Unfortunately I do not have a Marbles Date List in any of my books. Can one of our Marbles pros here on aapk advise me of a good book that has information pertaining to all Marbles knife date marks?

The Knife is a little over 9" overall length with a 5" blade. Containing 8 spacers at each end.
At what approx. date was it produced?

Thats a Marble's Expert...3 line No USA stamp....used that stamp
from 1966-1974.....they were out of the knife business 20 yrs then till
Jim & Craig Lauerman bought the company around 1994..
Went back producing knives after they hired Mike Stewart in 1997..
They did make some Experts with blades like yours they found in the old factory in the late 1990's though..
Mike left in 2002 to start Bark River, Craig sold the knife business in 2003 to ex Case president George Brinkley.
he started going off shore with everything,,
and Marble's went out of USA production for good in 2009

Marbles was still using the split nut construction into the 70s?

I was under the impression that that method of assembly went out of use right after WW2 for everyone.
