All About Pocket Knives

I know it looks rough. The guy selling it said he’d take $30 for it. Claims he paid $199.00 a year ago.
I literally know NOTHING about BENCHMADE knives.
I’ve tried to find one like it online, used, and cannot find anything similar as far as finish goes.
Any advice helps me in making a decision. It has a broken belt clip, which isn’t shown in the pics.
I want a BENCHMADE to alternate as a pocket knife.
I’d like to get it, and the price point is in my range at this juncture in time.

I just don’t want to buy a clone for that price.

Why would someone pay $200 for a Benchmade and sell for $30 a year later? Sounds fishy to me! It dosent look like anything I've seen from Benchmade. I'd stay away from it and buy from a store, buyer beware! ftd

I guess some folks (with zero morals) will say anything for a buck. Dude claimed it was beat up, and clip broken, but mechanism still worked great, and he upgraded to something else. I was suspicious cuz I couldn’t find anything online that was even close as far as the finish goes.
I guess I’m just really wanting a new knife! LOL
