Got my selection of the Ganzo knives in today -- will be using them a little along,__ but out of the box, they were slicing paper sharp and after a few flips & a squirt of oil, they do some serious ""FLIPPING"" -- they all lock up tight and the carbon fiber scales are "xxtra-kool"" --most of the ones I got are the "bigger versions" ( 4in. /+ ) -- for the money, I don't see where ya' can go wrong -- collecting what you like and you can't go wrong*** ::tu:: ::tu::

Monk, what was the range in price from least expensive to most expensive ?
Is there one that stands out as 'best' ?
There are some Ganzos in the more expensive class, like $60 or more. Did you get any of these ?

KJ - where did you find a Ganzo/Firebird for $60? I own 9 of their models and I've never seen one over $30.

Try some of the automatics too, you'll like them. I've never seen a $60 Ganzo unless it was on an auction.

Joe-- I bought them all from a USA dealer on E-bay ( botdcypher2009 ) link below*-- bought, paid & delivered in three days -- price range $15 / $24 -- I had been looking for a Benchmade 940-2 and the cheapest I found was $165 -- bought these ( all 7 ) knives for $140 ( the Ganzo F7562-CF is the spitting image (copy*) of the 940-2 Benchmade -- I know that they are not the same knife in steel quality, craftsmanship, features, ect. but just looking at em', _ they suit this ol' man just fine :) ::tu:: Don't have a favorite, but the ones with the ""axis lock"" ( Ganzo calls it a G-Lock ) are easier to flip open ,but they all seem to sooth my itch** for the moment

$60+ was not in reference to the Ganzo Firebird. If you search "Ganzo knife" on ebay you will see their top models sell in the $62-$65 range.
Up until about 2-3 years ago the tactical style knives from China were all under $20 and are very good knives. Recently the tactical knives from China are coming in at various price points up to $900 ! The sub $20 knives are still available and are still exceptionally well made. I have been using a $10 SanRenMu 710 since 2009 and it's great. I wanted to see what you get if you spend more money so i paid about $70 for a Real Steel G3. Incredible knife super sleek design. It is so good i cannot see how the knives for $200 or $400 or $900 can be that much better.

If you're looking for a Ganzo, I saw several last night while viewing the wares in the AAPK store.

Anyone that is selling a Ganzo OR Firebird knife on ebay for over $60 is a crook. There just aren't any that should cost that much. If you search gearbest.com or fasttech.com you will see all the Ganzo knives and what they should cost. You will pay a bit more if you buy from a USA dealer like powercutlery.com, but not double.

Other brands are a completely different story and run the gamut of prices.

Edit - for example, look at this ebay ad for a Ganzo G720-B:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/8-27in-Ganzo-G ... Sw61hahncw

Now look on Fasttech.com:
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/100 ... el-folding

And powercutlery.com:

Wow ! I had no idea ! There are quite a few ebay listings for $62 Ganzos so i figured that was the price for that model. Crazy thing is though that it is such a good knife that even the guy who pays $62 will feel it's a good deal (as long as he does not learn of the $20 price).
