My momma used to say, "You know what thoughts did? Went to bed as I did. Peed the bed as you did." No, seriously, that was one of her sayings when things didn't work out like you thought they would.
Relax Monkey Man. Luxuriate in the ownership of that new Barrage. It's a fine knife to soften the landing of the fall from grace.

A Barrage 581, Benchmade offered mix and match scales and blade steel for awhile. Sucked me right in, they did.
Same knife, different looks.

At least for me, that's "brief periods of remission".

Went to the Wanenmacher in Tulsa last week.Picked up a 943 Osborne and a Crooked river benchmade. The crooked river has become my favorite of all the benchmades so far.

Monk, I am not a doctor, but I am pretty sure that going two years without a new knife is dangerous to a man's well being. I sure do not plan to try it, anyway!
That Barrage certainly is a beauty.
