Well, I guess I know what one of my collecting goals for 2018 is now. :) Beautiful knives!

They sure look great,

reminds me a lot of the 75 case pattern I love to collect, I just sold 13 of my last collaboration knives to focus more on Pre 70's mint case.

But I'm half tempted to get me one of these.. or the whole set :)

I still have:

Ebony coke bottle
Ebony Cattle knife
Ebony Whittler..

Possible traders if anyone is looking to get some.. they are all about 350 trade value if anyone is interested, all mint and unused, two are signed by tony

looking for xx era mainly, 88-47-80-94-50 and similar patterns.

I watched the video but could not make out what Tony said makes it a special pattern except for the bit about the profile of the clip blade. I think it's a combination of my hearing and Tony's mumble or poor pick up by microphone.
I have owned a number of the C/B collabs but only 2 had really good fit and finish: the Norfolk and the 1999 Wharncliffe Trapper, both of which i still have. The WT is absolutely exceptional, truly as fine as a full custom in the $800+ range, so smooth and precise in action as well as fit.
I think it is better to be able to buy in person so you can inspect the knife first. My experience is that there is a range of quality. Not all come out how they should given the hype & the price.

@Treejakal Thanks for posting as KJ says hard to hear everything but it is there if you listen real hard. And the knowledge I picked up in just those couple of minutes about swedges and rub points is interesting. Only have one collaboration a Lanny"s Clip, quality as far as I'm concerned is 110% I will never part with it.
Interesting too (as a part -time knife customizer) to see Tony's Hands don't fare any better than mine with split nails cuts and bandaids

Roland, he modeled the clip blade after the old Kabar clip that was found on their trapper and stockman. He's right those old blades were just beautiful, and unique with a very long clip.

Thanks Eric. I need to look more closely at the clip blades on my vintage USA Stock knives to fully appreciate the old Kabar clip blade.
I wonder if the popularity of GEC knives will affect the sale of the 'collabs' which are 3-4 times more expensive ? The quality control by GEC is better in my experience than that of the Case-Bose collaboration knives and this makes me hesitant to buy a 'collab' online.

I picked up a Premium Stockman in Chestnut bone. It reminds me a lot of 75. The length is the same (4 1/4") while the Bose knife is thicker and heavier, plus all blades have half stops. The shape of the clip blade is different as pointed out in the video in the original post. All components on the Bose knife are steel.
