That one was a real beauty, thickest stag I've seen on a Congress. I'm glad you like it.

i like it.
A question about the "arrows" on the handle (i know Bill scagel has used it) : it has a special signification, or is it only because scagel used it ?

i don't know the answer stan but i would guess it's something to do with scagel.

Arrow Head Shield

Knowing Dave Shirley I'm sure it's to represent one of Scagels symbols. The other being the kris dagger. My wife has been working on creating a new box label for Northwoods. Three items that Dave insisted being on the box was the American flag, the arrowhead, and the kris.

Richied, Dave Shirley owns Northwoods, Scagel Reproductions, and The Custom Shoppe. Dave has been making knives for years, and started making Northwoods in 2004. The first year they produced fifty Senators in stag and fifty in Mammoth Ivory. They only make a production run of 100 knives. Just had a knife show today and everyone was impressed with them.

If they keep making knives like the knives I've seen lately, I going to have to break into my knifemaking supplies account. Great looking knives!
