Vintage Pocket Knife Pouches
In my neck of the woods (rural Australia) 'Pocket' knives where more often carried in a belt pouch. I assume for easy access and security (loosing your knife would have been a big issue)
Whether it was common in other parts of the world I am not sure (?)
Anyone on here have pictures of older knife pouches??? I've circled the interweb and not a lot out there. And I am really not sure if they have changed in design over the years anyway.

I am about to make a Pouch for an old Camillus Camp/Scout knife and I thought it would be nice if I could use a design that suited the era of the knife - in this case maybe 1940's.
It also occurs to me that anyone with an older knife might also like a pouch to match in style the pouches that were available at the time.
Here are a couple I sourced from the web but I am hoping others may have some pics too, perhaps in vintage knife catalogs?

And I like this Gerber pouch (maybe not particularly old) Note the way the loop for the belt continues on the be the front flap, I thought very clever.

Thanks for taking the time to post.... interesting the old pouches & slips are very form-fitting whereas the modern take is wide and flat like the Knives Ship free style.

Two pocket slips and the sheath for my Buck 110, which I got for Christmas in 1976. I got the clasp top slip with a Sheffield corn knife at a flea market, not sure if they were originally together?
