I have been a big Spyderco for many years. Recently, I bought a Calypso, Jr. ZDP 189, and this knife has totally blown me away!! It is amazing! I like the ZDP so much, that I have pre-ordered a Delica with ZDP. What about you guys??

8) HEY! TKC
I love Spyderco knives and I own several of them. For their price they are a great bargain, built to last. My two favorite models are the James Keating Chinook and the stainless steel Police model. Many California Highway Patrolman carry the stainless Police model cliped inside their boots.

I too like the James Keating Chinook as well. I used to have a stainless steel Police knife, but I sold it (along with others.), to fund another knife purchase. I really like Spyderco's, they are excellent knives and fantastic prices.

I was able to purchase a second Calypso, Jr. ZDP 189 last night!! I am delerious with joy. I would be devasted if anything happened to my current Caly, Jr. This second one is going to be a drawer queen. Just a backup. Any one else here get a Caly, Jr. w/ ZDP 189? Fanatstic little knife!! Cuts like the dickens and incredibly sharp!!

I'm a Spyderco fan as well, although I don't have any of the ZDPs (yet). Maybe I'll get m hands on a ZDP Delica at some point, although currently I'm on a traditional kick (just bought a Queen canoe, and I'm looking at a Schatt & Morgan sunfish next).

Always loved the Spydies, since I got my first Delica in the mid 90s (it was lifted from my apartment, sadly, during a hectic gathering...), and I often have one on me in addition to a slipjoint.

Currently, I'm getting more into the SS Spydies, having just recently gotten around to replacing my Delica with an SS version, and picking up a Police.

Peace.

Have you folks seen the Native in S30V at WalMart? It is under $40. Pretty amazing.

I have checked out the D'Allara 2, and I just may have to hop onto that boat... It would be my first experience with Spyderco's ball-bearing lock. I'm a big fan of Benchmade's axis lock, so I imagine I'll like the ball-bearing lock equally, if not more.

The ZDP Jess Horn looks really nice too, although I don't have much use for another slim, pointy blade like that. I'll probably get a ZDP Delica, since I already love the Delica's overall design... Can't wait!

:D

This is my favorite Delica. It is an all stainless spyderedge, customized by my friend Mike Pardue. The overlay is German silver, and the praying cowboy is copper, all hand engraved. The clip is overlayed the same way but with my initials. This knife is special to me because my wife gave it to me for our 2nd anniversary. and I had the customization done this year our 10th.

Hope you like it,
Jeff
