Well, I had another Camillus Barlow knife that I was adding smooth autumn gold scales to but when I got the knife pre-assembled I realized that the main blade had no snap whatsoever. Upon disassembly I discovered that the main blade tang was badly work. So I'll set this one off to one side until a replacement blade or donor knife can be found.
So my next project knife will be this poor old hammer brand knife with broken scales and beat up blades. Should be fun!

Jeff if you take that blade and weld the end of the tang you can restore the snap.

Yeah, I saw where someone else did that awhile ago. As I currently do not have a welder, blade replacement is my only option.
Thanks!
