Gunstock Conversion From A Camillus TL29

Been doing a few TL29 makeovers and have been looking for ways to change things up a bit. Mostly I make new liners (I call them 'liners' some call them 'scales' ) so giving the knife a different shape is no big deal within the limits of the spring & blade.
This is my version of the 'Gunstock' pattern. There is a small extension dovetailed onto the butt of the spring but overall there is only 1/16 " added the length.

The Electricians knife is a terrific canvas for customization. Inexpensive, solid, versital and the end product has great potential. Good job.

Derek fantastic job and beautiful knife! I have several electricians knives that I am going to transform into something someday. Lol I just hope that they look half as nice as yours.

Very nice Sir. I also like your progressive photos, very clear and they show a lot of detail. You can really see all the work that goes into doing a job like that. That's neat for people like me that would never try something like what you've done. Bravo!!

The wood is some walnut I collected from my late Dad's shed ( he was a big scrounger too - probably where I got it from
)
I've used it on a couple of knives now ... in the right light it has a pleasant 'tiger stripe' pattern.
The top knife is Gidgee the other two are walnut.
