Help Identifying This Knife - Edges???

Found six of these in my brother-in-laws collection the other day.
The handles appear to be a light colored smooth bone but I am not sure. They are heavy duty and seem like good quality I have done a search and cannot find anything on "EDGES". I thought maybe one of you all may be familiar or have seen one of these before. They are all serial numbered and say Edges 1991 1 of 1000 on the tang.

Sandie, I've never heard of Edges knives before. Those appear to be bone handles to me. Maybe someone else has some info on it.

looks like a queen to me. edges is maybe a company and had the knives made for some ten year event.

Hey Sandie, nice knife. Is it just me or does that knife look like the new GEC patterns? Well maybe I should say do the new GEC patterns look like that knife? Smoke

Here is the reply I got from Bernard Levine on this knife:
Edges was a collector oriented tabloid published by Blade magazine, trying to compete directly with Knife World when its owner would not sell. I have not seen it in a long time, don't know when it faded away. It never had much in the way of content to offer. It tried to offer 'stock tables' of current knife prices, but pre-eBay these had no basis except wishful thinking on the part of a few dealers.
That looks like an OK knife. Is there a country of origin marked on them? If not, they are likely by Camillus, which made a lot of that pattern under a variety of brand names. Alcas made some of that pattern, too, but usually with fancy etching by Aurum or Baron.
To tell bone from plastic, look at them under magnification, even just reading glasses. Bone has lots of tiny pores (Haversian canals) while plastic does not.

I'd like to see that knife side by side with a GEC. I don't have any GEC knives, but it sure looks similar in pattern to one.

Blade setup is not the same as a GEC; pins either. Throw a ruler beside it; looks to be smaller (almost Parker sized).
