Looking for knowledge here.
Pardon my ignorance but what does it take to qualify as a "Slenderino"? Is it a Serpentine Stockman with a Turkish Clip main blade or maybe a Muskrat main blade that does the trick? Does a Schrade #861 qualify? or a Camillus #69 (even though this is the Schrade forum)?

What do the judges say about a Schrade 293 with what looks to me like a California Clip main?

I would say a slim stockman with round bolsters and a serpentine frame in the 3 1/2" to 4" range. Certainly the Camillus 69 and Schrade 61 patterns qualify. Forum member Tongue River came up with the term. What do you say Cal?

Pure Schrade Love, Hal; good to hear from you. ::tu::
Here is an 896Y on top, with an 890Y. Celluloid goodness.

That is what I had in mind. I never thunk of the muskrat, but it snuggles right into that profile, I guess. And I really like muskrats, too!

I noticed that many of these knives, and in fact all of the knives that Hawk posted have what is more similar to an upside down Wharncliffe.

This is a blade style that I have never noticed before... It has a balanced, kind of sexy look to it.
Nice Knives!!! ::tu::

I never noticed it that way, but it is fairly close.

I would think that if you placed a straight edge along the spine that would be dead flat.

Is their an official name for that blade style? I actually like it... bunches. ::tu::

I believe it is officially called a california or turkish clip.

This style led to me searching around a bit. I can understand the "California /Turkish Clip" moniker for the blade shape.

I did find something interesting relating to the Turkish aspect... A Yatagan. An Ottoman Empire blade design that is amazingly close to these blades.
I just found it interesting... ::tu::

Would this qualify as a slenderino? Been carrying this one off and on for nearly 10 yrs. now. One of Muskrat Man's early works.

Here's another one. I believe these had sterling silver bolsters and shield, but I'm not sure. They could optionally come with a glass display dome, which I think may still be in one of the AAPK stores. This one is available.
