Anybody Have Any Interest In This?

Sarah and I stopped into one of our favorite antiques shops today on U.S. 280 in Chelsea, AL
They have this all metal document chest. It's painted black kind of like the old Kennedy tool chests.
Looked to be in good condition, but I could not crawl around it to see. I had to move a very heavy table lamp just to get this photo.
All the flat drawers are just drawers, no partitions and probably meant to hold 8 1/2" by 11" papers. There is a finger sized hole the the bottom, so one could push the papers up for easy access.
These drawers would have to be lined with something to allow for knife storage.
I did not measure it, but it's shoulder high on me and I'm 5'11" tall.
I have no idea whether or not the locking mechanism on the upper right corner works.
Asking price is $2800.00, but I got it down to 2200, cash or check, no credit card.
I know this isn't for everyone and it's expensive. I know I cannot afford it.
However, I would be pleased to facilitate anyone's acquisition of this chest and I'd do it for nothing.
I'd meet you halfway with it within a reasonable distance, but I'm not driving halfway across the country.
Shipping would, I think, prove prohibitively expensive.
It was just a thought.
