All About Pocket Knives

Newbie here. I found a Camillus single blade folder in a junk pile Identical to the one shown above. It was missing the scale with the inlay which I am in the process of replacing. The more I stare at this knife the more I like it and want to know more about it. Can anyone help me out.?

That is a coke bottle pattern. I have a similar one at home. I will check the tang stamp on it when I get home. I don't have the tang stamp info with me.

It is hard to see, but I think it is only a three line stamp, no USA. Is there supposed to be a hole in the rear bolster like the top pic? Mine has what looks like a copper pin in it. Also should I leave the patina or clean it up? I put everything but the blade on a wire wheel to clean it up for new scales before I knew anything about the knife.

.......my guess is that the "u. s. a." is worn off, that's usually the case on older well used knives, also the upper 3 lines don't match any of the 3 line stamps in the goin's book............... .......................
