I sure am glad all you guys are here and have more references and have seen more than I have come across. I do enjoy reading the posts AND your answers. So here is another jewel that I liked alot, but it has no numbers on the tang, the tang stamp would identify it as being made between 1924 to 33 by Remington. Blades are near full and the handles are good bone. Cannot see any numbers on the knife, and I see no similar knife illustrated or indexed in any of my books. Like all the rest, I certainally appreciate identifying history / any best guesstimation of current value.

Doesn't look like Remington bone.

I hate to give bad news but your knife isn't a vintage Remington knife. Your right in the fact that the stamp resembles the 1924-33 stamp but it isn't. Your handles aren't Rogers bone. I have this knife that is similar to yours. I'm not up to date on who made the newer fakes but my knife is not a vintage Remington or an authorized reproduction either.

Guess I have to call that a lesson on the learning curve. Thanks for the clues anyway.

I have a handful of wrong Remington knives. I keep them around as reminders and for references.
