Remington Shell Box

Anyone have any idea on if this was a box for shotgun shells or for cartridges? My thought is shells because of the Geese. Any idea of what year?

Not sure, but I found a matching beer stein to go with it. This looks more like something for shot shells.

not sure what year? also the Winchester Boy Scout 22. I have the rifle.

I chuckled when I saw the boy on the box shooting and his insignia indicating that he's in the Stag Patrol
