All About Pocket Knives

I have had this for a while. Thought I would post it to find out a little about it. It is one of my edc and I love it. It takes and keeps a edge. The number on the back of the main blade is 132433. Right now it is so sharp it might just cut ya if you look at it to long. Lol. I have several Robeson Knives but I love this one. Any info would be appreciated. Sorry the pictures are not better.

Robeson called it a Carpenter's knife and the blades on many of them were etched "Carpenter's Choice". Nice knife!

Robeson put out a nice knife with this pattern. Any one who has one is fortunate.
The plastic handles are very stable. 3 5/8".

Wow thanks for the information, Wayne & Joe. I must say what a beautiful knife Joe! I notice that my knife and yours have a longer nail nick than the other pictures I have seen. Does that make them earlier/later or anything special?

Our knives also have the shield. The others may or may not have a different number.

The closest date I can get for our knives is 1940-1964.

This was apparently one of Robeson's most successful and enduring patterns.

There seems to be lot of them out there.

The nail nicks on the earlier knives were elliptical and created by a cutting technique. The later, post WWII, knives had those longer nicks which I think were created by a press technique.

Here are two that I have owned. I still have the black handled one. The bone handled one now belongs to someone else.
