This is a well constructed knife by S&S HELLE, HOLMEDAL, NORGE, The 5 inch blade is VERY thin section and the leather ring grip is a lovely fit in the hand.

Nice older Helle. Do you have the sheath ?
Helle, Brusletto & Mora are interesting knives to collect. Ebay usually has vintage examples of Scandinavian & Finnish knives.

Many thanks for your interest, guys; The knife came without the sheath, unfortunately; also, someone had badly stamped 'bowie' on the endcap, which I removed!
