All About Pocket Knives

Click on "Quick links" and then choose one from the drop down menu, e.g. "Your posts". On the left edge of the list is a symbol that i cannot figure out: a circle with a square-ish outline in the middle which can be white or orange and steady or blinking. A few have a black dot on the perimeter of the circle.
I thought the color & flashing/steady had to do with read and unread posts but any combination can occur with either of these.
Is there a place here at AAPK that explains the symbols ?

The black dot on the perimeter of the circle indicates that you have posted in this thread. The flashing icon means this is a popular topic. If the squarish object is orange you have unread posts there.

I tend to lean towards the "decoder ring."

No one can know that many things.
