Other things you can do with your pocket knife

Knives are not just for cutting. If this article is to be believed, you can do more:

Hmmmm... ::hmm:: I suppose this article has a point, but other objects more suited can be used as a substitute for all those actions as well. About 99.99% of the time I use my knife to cut... because it's a knife. You can use a pistol to drive tacks too if you REALLY wanted to but I wouldn't recommend it. I don't know... call me old fashioned I guess?

Ah yes Pablo, tis true, too true but the message I brought back from reading it is when the proper tool is not available, a pocket knife will often suffice.

Oh yes of course... like I said "I suppose the article has a point" I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents worth. Jerry, you of all folks on here knows as well as I about improvising. In the Corps... we "improvised" all the time... because we had too. Improvise, adapt, and overcome by any means necessary.

We did more with less for so long that now we can do anything with nothing.
