Colonial Picnic Pal
Colonial Picnic Pal
I was gifted this knife today by one of my coffee buddies. He is in his mid 80's and is a retired railroad engineer. I thought it interesting that all three tools are on the same end.It was late in the afternoon when I took pics. Sorry for the poor quality.

Re: Colonial Picnic Pal
Very interesting Colonial, a pattern I haven't seen before. Looks like it's got plenty of use left to it. Thanks for sharing it!

Re: Colonial Picnic Pal
I had a similar knife that said Sport-Pal on the shield but it was without the fork.

Re: Colonial Picnic Pal
That should disassemble into three separate pieces.Usually to take them apart the outboard tools need to be in the open position(either 90 degrees or fully open).Try sliding the outer pieces forward when they are open.If they haven't been apart in awhile they may be stuck.

I have two of those! I love them.... Like knife7knut said open the blades and all the pieces should slide apart. If not put a few drops of oil on the liners, let it sit for a bit and then take them apart! That's a nice one! Congrats.
Re: Colonial Picnic Pal
Thanks for the responses. I will soak in oil and try to take them apart.
Re: Colonial Picnic Pal
I found pics of what it looks like apart and had no trouble disassembling it. Thanks again for everyone's help.
