Russell history question

Post by bocaj »

Can anyone help me decide when Russell stopped using the tang stamp 'GREEN RIVER WORKS' on cutlery and knives ???
Did it go all the way to 1935 with the merge with Harrington ???
Did it go on with the new DEXTER CO ????

They still use the Green River mark on their fixed blades. I have these two.

Hey Jacob. ::handshake:: That was me! Glad you like the knives! ::tu:: Those are from my personal collection, as are all of the knives listed in my store. I still have a couple hundred knives to go through and list. ::nod:: I'll keep you in mind for sure. But to be safe check my store listings often as I try to add a few knives every week. I'm happy to sell to other AAPK members as I know they will have a good home! Honestly, I don't want to sell them, its more like I have to!
