All About Pocket Knives

What are your favorite knives that you own? Here are mine: CRK large Sebenza, DMKnives Instigator & Hawkbill, R.Hinderer Firetac, Spyderco Calypso, Jr. ZDP 189, Buck/Mayo TNT, Paul pocket knife. I also collect green handled Case knives. I also need to add a Peter Atwood Solar Arc to my list!

Some of my favorite EDC are Buck 110 (I have 3), Case 159, SOG flash II, Kershaw whirwind, Meyerco A-OK(A cheapie, but I like it). There are alot of others but they are not in my EDC rotation, stuff like musrats, trappers, canoes, SAK and so on.

My favorites that I own are:

Buck 110 with Elk Antler Scales
Case 6.5 Bonestag 75 pattern stockman in CV
3 inch bladed EDC small fixed blade handmade from RazorBack knives. (pocket sheath, so it's tecnically a pocket knfie)
Queen Carved Stag Bone Mountain Man folder
Schrade Classics Sowbelly in Sheep's Horn (recent purchase but it's already a big hit with me)
1979 Case 6132 1/2 Teardrop Jack in Red Delrin (classic jackknife and built like a tank)

I have alot of favorites. Here are a few: Case 6275 cv, Schrade-Walden 8ot, Case 6318 cv, '64-'69 Case barlow, Victorinox fieldmaster.

HEY IM LIKE A LITTLE KID IN A CANDY STORE, I LIKE THEM ALL.
WITH THAT SAID I LEAN TOWARDS CELLULOID. TWO OFFHAND ARE AN EARLY SCHRADE SWITCHBLADE THATS BEEN ON HERE BEFORE, THE OTHER IS AN ADVERTISING EQUAL PEN OF THE FRANCONIA I. SHE WAS CHRISTENED ABOUT 1912 AND SUNK BY THE GERMANS SOMEWHERE AROUND 1918, THESE KNIVES WERE MOST LIKELY GIVEN TO SHIPBOARD COMPETITORS IN SHUFFLEBOARD AND THE LIKE.
SOME OTHER TIME I WILL SHOW IT. MY FAVORITE FIXED BLADE IS AN F.WARD STAG HANDLED DAGGER FROM THE EARLY THIRD QUARTER OF THE 19TH CENTURY.

THANKS FOR THE LOOK. DOESN'T MATTER WHO HE DESIGNS FOR HE JUST CREATES A DARN FINE PRODUCT. SINCE I SORT OF COLLECT GERBERS I WAS JUST HOPING. BY THE WAY JUST GOT A 51-54 SHORTY,

My personal collection consists more of daggers and swords than knives. I am the proud owner of a few knives that are odd, even for this forum. Three of my favorites are:
1) A Jabali Bowie from Muela that I had a very difficult time bringing back from Benidorm, Spain 2yrs ago.
2) A South African Okapi. Maybe the least desired knife in my collection, but the handle work is what sold me on it.
3) A German Soligen "Cat" knife issued to a German SS officer in WW II, that still "walks and talks" and could probably tell a few horror stories.

My favorites would be Case 6347 or any of the Case stockman types. My father liked Case and Queen. So I have an interest in them as well.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Well if I have to pick just one it would be 6392 redbone, but everything else in my collections a really close second

Well than my other favorites are about 40 more stockmans, 20 or so large trappers and yes 10 hobos that my little girl thinks is cool. When I get in from offshore next week if you would like to look at a few I'll try posting them. Not sure how to do it but I'll get in touch with Bryan and let this ole dog learn a new trick here on the puter

SO MANY SO LITTLE TIME:
PICKED THESE FROM THE STACK WITH EXCEPTION OF SECOND FROM TOP OF PIC 1 , I FLEW WITH THAT IN EARLY 60's AS ECM AIRCREW.BELIEVE ME CATAPULTING OF A CARRIER IS A HOOT. THE TOP IS A WWII MARINE KABAR, THIRD DOWN IS THE SECOND OR THIRD VERSION OF LATEST NAVY KNIFE(PURPORTED TO BE CARRIED BY SEALS.) NEXT IS THE M3 BRIAN RECOMMENDED TO THE LADY FOR FRIEND, IT STARTED AS KNIFE WAS CONVERTED TO BAYONET THEN HAD BARREL LUG CUT OFF BY SOMRONE WHO PROBABLY PUR IT TO BETTER USE.LAST TWO ARE AN 85 CAMILLUS NAVY AND A 87 AIR FORCE ONTARIO MADE KNIFE.

I like the question! I must confess, I am like the rest of the knife knuts. I like just about everything. There are alot that I have not seen I'm quite sure. I started with a buck 110 way back in the day. My wife, then girlfriend, sent me a brand new one after I enlisted into the regular army as a birthday present. I have since skinned and field dressed around about 26 or so deer with that knife.....Yes, I love it!!!!! As I exited the Army I managed to keep a brand knew bayonnette and love that as a tool for several things. I then got really turned on by Case knives, and love alot of the mini's. I personally am into the toothpicks now and feel myself falling quickly for the streamlined custom knives by several people. As each day now goes by I'm thinking about things like swords and razor knifes. I'm absolutely over the edge on this whole thing.......its in the blood I suppose...........I called Bryan , this websites administrator and asked him if he had a knife that would skin a deer? That was like asking a butcher if he knows what a good cut of meat is. After a very good conversation with Bryan I purchased a very reasonably priced Benchmade knife that he recommended for skinning. I basically wanted to put the 110 up and keep it polished. Call me sentimental. I must admit the Benchmade knife Skinned 3 deer this past season and performed flawlessly. I'm truly amazed at how "obsessed" I've become with all of these gorgeous knives here at this forum, both viewed and talked about....its really cool being involved in this whole thing.
