is this the right handle?

knife is a imperial wood handle don;t know if it came this way or someone made it??. is it a hunting knife or Military? thanks for your help

It appears that you have one of the variants of the H-15 Schrade Walden. There were several variations of this made, including some by Imperial. Schrade also made a 138 and a 144, as well as SFO's for customers such as Sears. There were small variations such as the spacers and the spacer color, but most had leather ring handles on them and slight variations in the guard.
The red spacers on the ends of your handle appear to be correct, matching a Schrade Walden 138 that I have.
In the picture posted below you see the 138 with red spacers and leather ring handle. The center knife is a Craftsman variant. The bottom knife is the Schrade Walden H-15.
Perhaps someone else on the forum has a Schrade Walden 144 that they could post a picture of.
As I said, I have not seen one with wooden handles, but it would not be too difficult to replace the leather ring handle with wood, especially at the leather had rotted. It is always possible that Imperial made one with wooden handles as well.
